ARE YOU INNOVATION READY?

In one of the most comprehensive studies ever conducted on innovation, eLab@INSEAD, in collaboration with Logica, surveyed two hundred CIO level business leaders from blue-chip organisations from both the public and private sectors across Europe, about their views on innovation, and more specifically collaborative innovation. The research shows that, although they claim to grant high priority to innovation, most companies are handicapped by low levels of innovation readiness. The final report was issued in English and French, and launched at three high level events organized respectively in London, Amsterdam and Paris in November-December 2009.

INSEAD and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Issue Global Innovation Index (GII) 2009/10 and Report.  The Report stresses the importance of innovation as a catalyst for global growth during a period of economic recovery. Scandinavian and Asian economies dominate the Global Innovation Index with Iceland (1st), Sweden (2nd), Hong Kong (3rd), Denmark (5th), Finland (6th), Singapore (7th), New Zealand (9th) and Norway (10th) securing positions in the top ten out of a record 132 economies.
