In conjunction with our CEO’s 100th Days at Yayasan Inovasi Malaysia, YIMsters celebrated the day by asking him questions and hoping to get to know him and his aspiration better:

Q: What surprises you when you first walk in YIM?
A: No surprises actually, done a background research on YIM and know pretty much of what’s going on through YIM website. Very informative!

Q: What is your favourite food?
A: Back home it is anything that goes with lime and hot! Here, the curry is super spicy and tasty. Love it!

Q: Why are you willing to take the role of CEO in YIM looking at the current challenge?
A: What YIM does is an extension of what I used to do at the Institute for Development Studies (IDS). That is basically bridging the development gap at the grassroots level through innovation. This opportunity to play a role at the national level is just another challenge to share my experience to a wider community base nationwide.

Q: What would you like Malaysia to achieve in TN2050?
A: Experiencing the best in terms of quality of life through the applications of sciences in everyday living no matter where you are in Malaysia.

Q: What are you passionate about?
A: Good health, creative thoughts and enjoying the peace with nature.

Thank you for being such a good sports CEO! From all of YIM, we wish you Happy 100th Day CEO! Looking forward to a brighter future for YIM
