Furniture In Life is a combination of 24 functions grouped into one piece of furniture. This innovation was produced by Mr. Huzaireen Hassan Asri together with Mr. Mohd Hafizuddin Ariffin and Mr. Abdul Afiq Abdul Rahman Sani from the Mara Alor Setar Skills Institute.
Huzaireen and his group are aware that the problem of limited space to accommodate a large amount of furniture in a dorm room needs to be addressed by minimizing the size of the furniture without reducing its function.
Through Furniture In Life, users can take advantage of the key functions that should be present in each room. Among its main functions are beds, shoe racks, study desks, ironing boards and bookshelves. This innovation also has other functions such as makeup drawers, mirrors, keyboard drawers, monitor space, clothing storage space and more. All 24 of these functions are actually very practical, especially for the use of students.
Innovation Furniture In Life has received an Innovation Development Grant through the High Impact Program 6 (HIP 6) – Inclusive Innovation in 2016. YIM assists in terms of marketing to gain wider access and network as well as prepare research and development plans.
