Depending on the duration and nature of each project, the amount of grants we offer may vary. A maximum amount of RM200,000 can be awarded for projects that run for twelve (12) months.

We focus on achieving long-term impact. For this purpose, we provide three (3) types of funding:

  • Innovator-Entrepreneur (IE) funding for innovation projects undertaken by entrepreneurs who are entrepreneurial.
  • Licensing funding for open innovation projects for licensing with interested parties.
  • Community-Enablement (CE) funding for innovation projects that directly impact the community.

In addition to the awarded innovation development grants, we strive to support our innovators in capacity building. Through mentoring, training for disseminating innovation to the community, networking opportunities, market access, best practice advice, and more, we provide them with the knowledge and skills needed to strategize and lead better, thus paving the way for generating greater impact over the long term.
