About

Malaysia Social Innovation (MyIS) Drive is a continuation of the High Impact Programme 6 (HIP 6) -Inclusive Innovation Programme which was implemented from 2015 and ended in 2020 in line with the SME Masterplan (2012-2020) under the Ministry of Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives (MEDAC) and implemented through the collaboration of SME Corp. Malaysia and the Yayasan Inovasi Malaysia.

The objective of I-SEE is to empower the bottom 40% group in the income pyramid (B40) by leveraging innovation. The programme will encourage community transformation, including micro-enterprises in rural areas through guidance and provision of technical support and financial assistance. This programme will be implemented by SME Corp. Malaysia in collaboration with several strategic partners.

The i-SEE Programme was also formulated to be in line with the Dasar Keusahawanan Nasional (DKN 2030) which aims to develop an entrepreneurial ecosystem in Malaysia that will enhance the country’s competitiveness in the global economy amidst increasing competition and challenges emerging from Industry 4.0 as well as creating an entrepreneurial culture in the Malaysian society.
